Little adventure

Posted by KayAlons - September 19th, 2020

I don’t seem to be able to choose 1 style to stick to. All my creations are little adventures taking my style into the exact opposite direction as my last art project. I see artists being successful because of sticking to 1 style. I want my art to be recognizable but then I have to give up discovering and I am afraid this will result in me being bored with art. The struggle is real. For years...

I don't really have qualifications for talking about this, so take my advice with a grain of salt. If you want to develop a style, consider making some kind of series or collection that has a style to it. Make some core decisions that you will stick to throughout the series and use that to guide its style. If you find a decision doesn't work, you can end the series or even just put it on hold if it gets a little stale.

Yes, a series might be the only thing right now that will work to figure my own art out! Thank you!
